JOB PLACEMENT SPECIALIST (Part-time: 2 openings)

• ​Description: Future Choices is seeking two dedicated and motivated Job Placement Specialists to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others find meaningful employment opportunities.

• Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

  • Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Flexible Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, employers, and team members.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, track client progress, and meet deadlines efficiently.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Must be approachable, patient, and able to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to identify employment barriers and develop strategies to support job seekers in overcoming challenges.

  • Experience (Preferred but not Required): Prior experience in job placement, career counseling, social services, or a related field is a plus.

• Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals in securing employment opportunities that match their skills, experience, and career goals.

  • Develop relationships with local employers to identify job openings and advocate for clients.

  • Provide resume-building assistance, interview coaching, and job readiness training.

  • Conduct follow-ups with both clients and employers to ensure successful job placement and retention.

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, job placements, and progress reports.

  • Collaborate with other staff members to create strategies for client success.​
